Wednesday's Lists 30-11-2022: I think Flamers need a nerf...

Hi everyone,

Welcome to blog number 6 about Warhammer 40k competitive lists. In this article you will find
all lists from big tournaments around the world from last weekend. You can use this knowledge to become a better tournament player.

The biggest event this weekend was Alliance Open Super Major with 135 players. I happend to be one of them. I played Iron Hands with a Dreadnought list. I had an amazing start going 4-1 in the first two days but the last day I got out-played by my more skilled opponents. Learn a lot this weekend!

Looking back on all the tournament lists from this weekend Flamers are just too good. Chaos Deamons and Thousand Sons did really well but all with high numbers of Flamers. In my opinion the Flamers are to cheap for what they do. So points should go up, something like 40 points instead of 25.

Leagues of Votann did really well this weekend ranking first and second place. When I check the lists I don`t see just one winning list. There are lists with Land Fortresses and without. With many Berserkers or none. So it seems the stratagems and abilities in general are just good. All list have bikes though so that unit is an auto take.

Tyranids are still doing very well in the meta and also Chaos Space Marines rock the fields. Necrons didn`t do great this weekend, it seems that players know how to deal with them now. Aeldari and Custodes were the upcomming stars with high placings and a tournament win.⁠
