Meta Monday 10-10-22: Vanguard of the Leagues

Hi everyone,

Welcome to the Meta Monday articles. This content is based on the Meta Monday articles form Reddit Warhammer Competitive by J.C.M Shurtleff. I noticed that a lot of people ask for the lists played at the Warhammer 40k events.

So this article will give you all the lists form the Meta Monday article. Click on the armies to see the list and click again to close them. I will try to make a new article every week, so stay tuned.

Takeaways:

Only 4 LoV players at the GW Chicago event with only 4 units from their codex available got a 55% win rate but none made the top pod there.

Chaos Daemons were the 4th most played faction and had a 58% win rate this weekend but no event wins and only one top 5 placings.

Guard seems to have fallen flat on its face this weekend with a 28% win rate. I wonder if their relative success has brought out more of their fans to GTs and those who haven't been grinding it out got to meet 9th with their 8th edition mindset.

Codex CSM were the most played faction of the weekend and were playing for wins or top spots in most events. EC seemed to do the best this weekend with a 59% win rate and 2 top 5 placings.

Harlequins and Nids stay at the top with both having 60%+ win rates, lots of top 5 representation and just pure domination.

Interesting to see that Ynnari with some more players in a weekend see their win rate drop hard. Down to 50% win rate but they still won the second biggest event.

Tau was all over the Top 5 this weekend but had a nice 52% win rate.

After all the weeks of talk about how Salamanders have play they seem to have had a decent weekend with 7 players with a 49% win rate and one that played for a tournament win game 5.
