Wednesday's Lists 7-12-2022: Guards doing well! Flamer still need a nerf :D

Hi everyone,

Welcome to blog number 7 about Warhammer 40k competitive lists. In this article you will find
all lists from big tournaments around the world from last weekend. You can use this knowledge to become a better tournament player.

Three big events this weekend with another Super Major, of course won by Flamers. There were a lot of small events this weekend as well. In this editon I will also add the winners of small GT`s.

In the Metawatch article of the WH community website we could read that Thousand Sons with Flamers have a really good winrate. 70% is way too high, the Flamers in combination with all the TS characters is just too stong. I still believe the points of Flamers need to go up or TS should loose their Cabal ability if they soup with Deamons.

Let's talk about the rest of the meta, because it's actually very balanced at the moment. We see a lot of different factions win tournaments. I think GW is doing pretty well in balancing the game. New codexes are nerfed fast or are just balanced from the start. The new Imperial Guard codex did well this weekend winning a tournament and high placings. Leagues Votann also did well winning a big event and high placings. Tyranids and Harlequins still preform well but Necrons had a bad weekend. Custodes are preforming well lately.

There are just two armies that are not performing well. Space Marines and Adeptus Mechanicus. Space Marines have the problem they are played by many new players. Plus every player knows exactly what to do against them. I personally think that they actually are good enough. I myself have a 60% tournament winrate with them. Adeptus Mechanicus needs buff, they lack of CP and nerfs really killed their codex.
