<p>It&#39;s always fun to gather your own basing items. Cheap aquarium stuff is always very usable and also just a walk in nature will provide you with a lot of good materials.</p>

Cheap and Easy Jungle Base

Gather your basing items. I used normal tree bark from the forest, collected from dead trees on the ground. My go to product Vallejo ground texture, some small stones and aquarium plants. The plants are very cheap and easy to get on the known sites like Ali.

  



Glue a nice piece of bark on your base and put a layer of ground texture around it. PVA glue with sand also works for this. For some extra details add the small stones and small pieces of bark.

  



Now cut your aquarium plant to the right length for you base. They are flexible so you can bend them in shape.

  



Mix and match all the plants to your desire and glue them in place with super glue and let it dry. Place a little ground texture around the stems of the plants to make it more uniform with the rest of the base. Let it all dry properly so the plants don’t fall off later on.

  



Army Painter Black Primer

Paint the bark with some variation of brown and light brown. Paint it with the grain of the wood for a more naturel look. I used AK Hull Red, AK Leather brown, AK deep brown and AK light earth.

Paint the plants. U can paint them any alien color you want of course but I kept it simple with some normal greens. AK deep green, and AK dark green.

Add some details on your plants with different colors to make it more interesting. I used AK light green and AK olive green.

Paint the ground of your base with any brown and green and paint the small stones a light grey. When dry give it a wash with Agrax earthshade or seraphim sepia depending on the darkness of the ground. For extra details add some Italian spice on the ground for leaf litter (it smells nice to:)
