Another cheap and easy base tutorail by my hand. This time we make a Lava Base.Have a nice day!&nbsp;

Easy Lava Base tutorial

Get some bases and some cork. I used very cheap thick coaster for cooking pots (+- 2€).

  



Break it into some nice big chunks but remove all the flat areas from the parts you want to use so they look like very rough rocks and glue them in place. Make sure you can still fit a mini.

  
  


  



I have my go to product from Vallejo called: Ground Texture. It is cheap and will last for a very long time. But you can also use pva glue and sand if you want for this part. Place a little on  
the cork and in between the “rocks”

After your ground is almost dry add a very thick layer of GW technical Earth. It will give a cool effect. Same on the Mars base.

  



Citadel Technical Mordant Earth

When all is dry, prime your base so it all comes together. First with black and then white.

Now for paint: put some pure white where you will make the hot areas for the lava. Add some light yellow and Orange on the white in a bit of a random pattern.

Then add some red but try and keep the yellow and orange.

  



Citadel Evil Sunz Scarlet

I dry brushed the rocks a heavy black and the rest a very light black. Added some white for extra hot spots on the base and put some bright yellow and orange on those spots. You can use fluorescent paint to make it pop even more!!

I finished with some more black dry brushing on the rocks mostly and painted the base rim black.
