<p>A LOT of people ask me about how I paint my Iron Templar. The truth is that the techniques I use are very easy. The whole idea of the army is that I can paint it fast but looks good on the table top. This is how I paint the armor.<br><br>Good luck and happy crafting.</p>

Easy Metal

I removed the shoulder pads because I paint them separate.




Base Coat the hole model with Abaddon Black. Base Coat the power armor and the weapons with Leadbelcher.




Citadel Abaddon Black

Citadel Leadbelcher

Drybrush the armor Ironbreaker and then drybrush the armor with Runefang Steel.

Citadel Runefang Steel

Drybrush the armor with a 80/20 mix of Runefang Steal and White Scar. Only Drybrush the most upper parts.




Citadel White Scar

Shade the power armor with Agrax Earthshade. I see a lot of people make mistakes with shading. Don\`t put to much on the model! You really need to paint it on panel by panel and it needs to look good strait away. So don\`t wait until it dries but watch the drying process and remove overloads.

Block in the colours of all the details. So spend some time on the details and your models will look as good as mine.
