Hive Fleet Kraken Termagant

Prime the Termagant with Mechanicus Standard Grey.


Citadel Mechanicus Standard Grey

Citadel Corax White

Shade the exoskeleton with Apothecary White.


Citadel Contrast Apothecary White

Highlight the exoskeleton with White Scar by dry brushing technique.


Citadel White Scar

Paint the scales with Khorne Red. Paint the teeth, claws and hooves with Abaddon Black.

Shade the scales with 1:1 mix of Black Templar and Contrast Medium. Paint the fleshborer(the gun) with Skeleton Horde.

Paint the connectors of the exoskeleton with Luxion Purple. Paint the ammo of the fleshborer with Striking Scorpion Green.

Highlight the scales with a line pattern of Khorne Red.


Highlight the scales again but only 50% of the lines with Evil Sunz Scarlet.

Highlight the scales again but only the tip of the scales with Troll slayer orange. Also paint his eyes with this color. Paint his tongue with Fulgrim Pink.

Paint the lenses of the eyes with Dorn Yellow. Shade the tongue with Reikland Fleshshade and highlight with a 1:1 mix of Fulgrim Pink and White Scar.

Highlight the teeth, claws, hooves and the scales on the gun with Skavenblight Dinge and a fine highlight Karak Stone.

Thanks to the primer we can see where the model is going to be pinned, so keep this part clean.


Glue some stones on the base. I use PVA glue.


AK Corrosion Texture is perfect for basing.

Drybrush the base with Mournfang Brown and XV-88.

Glue the model on the base and paint the stones with Mechanicus Standard Grey.


Shade the stone with Agrax Earthshade and highlight with Dawn Stone. Glue some tuft on the base, I always use Gamers Grass.
