<p>I wanted to paint a lightning effect on my power blades of the Blade Guards. Here is how I did it.<br><br>Good luck and Happy Crafting.</p>

First paint the blade with silvers, easy shades and highlighted.


Paint a lightning pattern on the blade with Sotek Green.


Follow the same pattern with Temple Guard Blue. Use wet paint and make sure you paint a gradient towards the node of power sword.




Again you follow the pattern with Baharroth Blue and keep painting in the center of the lightning.




Now focus only around the node with Fenrisian Grey.


Paint a glow around the node with very wet White Scar. Really try to glaze around the node.


Paint the whole sword with Lahmian Medium. This gifs the blade the same finish, which make it look better.
