<p>In this tutorial Ivo show's how to create a really cool base color with his airbrush. The mini's are already tabletop ready but this is also a good base to start.</p>

I always start from a black base VJ black primer.

Initially I begin to define the light areas with 2-3 coats of Vallejo Imperial Blue leaving some darker parts thanks to the black base.

Vallejo Imperial Blue

First highlight with Vallejo magic blue then I sprayed all over the miniature blue Liquitex ink 1: 1 with water.

Picture of the colors used. These are all the steps carried out individually it is possible to intensify shadows (imperial blue) half tones (magic blue) or extreme points of light (white ink) until reaching the desired effect and gradations.

I always start from a black base Vallejo black primer.

On a black base I used pure red ink with several coats but I recommend starting with a Citadel Mephiston red for a better starter point.

I begin to define the light areas with 2-3 coats of Vallejo orange fire leaving some darker parts red. Over all I airbrushed 2 coats of yellow ink diluted 50% with water.

I begin to define the light areas with 2-3 coats of Vallejo Orange Fire leaving some darker parts red.Over all I airbrushed 2 coats of yellow ink diluted 50% with water.

I continue with the Yellow Ink to which I add 2 parts of white ink.

Liquitex Acryl Ink Yellow Medium

I continue with the yellow ink to which I add 2 parts of white ink.

First highlight with Vallejo Fluo Green then I sprayed a 1: 3 blue + yellow ink mix over the whole miniature to which I added water in a 1: 1 ratio.

Flue Green

These are the colors used for this tutorial. Ps only after completing all three Banshees I decided to make a second highlight with 50% diluted white ink.
